Welcome to the “barely palatable” blog of yours truly, Kyle Mills. I am a consultant for Guerilla Consulting Group; a company specializing in web advertising and marketing. Our company began with a very small, singular spark. You know what I’m talking about; we’ve all had one. Those little ideas in the very, very back of your head that whisper (scream) at you to make it happen. Well, I can now be the first to tell you “it works.” My friends and I have spent our lives as entrepreneurs… the people who make a living by following that spark. You might know a couple of entrepreneurs:
- P. T. Barnum - Have you ever heard of the Barnum and Bailey Circus? Ever wondered how it all started?
- Ray Kroc - I know you’ve tried Mc D’s new McCafe’s, right? Ever wondered how it all started?
- John D. Rockefeller - I wonder, have you ever driven a car? What powers that car? Yeh… ever wonder how it all started?
Well I can tell you with confidence, it all started with that very same spark. Somebody, somewhere saw a gap in the order of things. For example, Mr. Barnum’s world was full of people who wanted to see some weird stuff. His head made the obvious connection: What if I find the weirdest, grossest, most unreal things on the planet and charge people to look at them? Brilliant!
I can’t sit here and make claims that Guerilla Consulting is the next “circus,” but I can assure you that we’ve found a gap in the order of things. A lot of people make the claim that they do what we do, but I’ve seen what they do. Heck, I’ve hired them to “do what we do.” And no, no they really can’t do what we do.
