I’ve never been that weird kid in the corner eating glue or watching birds. But I’ve never been Mr. Threw the winning touch down either. I like to fancy myself as the average kid. Ya know, the one in the middle of the room, wearing glasses, taking notes, and staring out that window, dreaming like crazy? Turns out all that dreaming may have actually paid off. My name is Kyle Mills and I’m a web consultant.
I am also a proud member of the Baylor University Hankamer School of Business in Waco, Texas. I love number and have made finance, economics, and entrepreneurship my specialties. You’re probably thinkin, why marketing, right? Let me tell you, you wouldn’t be the first. As a famous entrepreneur (and company board member) once said: “It doesn’t matter what you produce, you won’t make money ‘til you learn how to market.” Well, isn’t that the truth? I soon figured out just where I belonged: using my financial and economic background to budget, analyze, and streamline online advertising. Oh yeh, and using that itty-bitty entrepreneurial spark (now explosion) to produce some “blow your mind” results in marketing.
I’ve been a member of several projects over the years, and I’ve found this to be an ultimate truth in the business world. Whether it was weeks scouring research, analytics, and financial projections for the National Museum of Natural History in Monterrey, Mexico; months tied up in my own entrepreneurial ventures; or international strategic development for the creation of a multi-billion dollar project in Abu Dhabi, UAE (Saadiyat Island), I am utterly convinced that there is a debilitating lack of knowledge, passion, and results in web marketing.
Dreams or not; words like Internet, social media, reach, and impressions ARE the words of the future. The only question now is will you embrace them?
